Great Food!

★★★☆☆
We came here for lunch one day and were served a wonderful and decadent lunch. There is a really nice patio and restaurant here with great scenery, which allows for a relaxing and pleasant experience. After lunch we tasted the wine and overall, I was not impressed with the selection or wine. We bought one bottle of the blended white but for the price I did not think the quality was great.

Obnoxious Owner

★☆☆☆☆
My husband and I went to The Good Earth for a wine tasting last weekend. We were served by the owner. We asked if she had any organic wines. (Several other Niagara wineries have at least one organic wine and we had tasted a few that afternoon.) She became very disdainful, stating that the only wineries that serviced organic wines in Niagara had rich owners who could "afford to lose a crop". She went on to say she is a believer in science, implying anyone interested in organic wines was a nutcase. I have a PhD in occupational health, training in toxicology and many years of experience working on regulations governing the use of toxic substances in the workplace. My husband is a medical doctor and teaches public health to graduate students. To suggest that our interest in organic wines is "anti-science" was both ignorant and arrogant. Oh, and the wines we tasted were not particularly appealing. The "Good Earth" -- not so good.
