Things have gone quiet here at Alvento Winery for a number of years. But now under new ownership they are back and bigger than ever. Currently they are offering quality wines from the 2007, 2008 and 2012 vintages with new wines available in spring 2019. I visited them on their opening weekend on the 20th of October and I was seriously impressed. I had no idea there was also a B&B on the property.. and it is quite gorgeous! Next time I visit from Toronto I am definitely renting a room and doing some local winery visits. My husband and I also found that it was closer to the QEW than other wineries which makes it very convenient to find (especially after a long drive away from the city). Hope to visit again soon!”
